The Summer School is open to Undergraduate and Graduate students providing that applicants have the pre-requisites specified in the course’s syllabus.
For non-native English speakers: B2 (CEFR) or equivalent (TOEFL IBT 72, IELTS 5.0, TOEIC 750) is highly recommended.

For students who will join the summer school on-site, EM Normandie will organise cultural visits to enable you to discover the beauty of Normandy and Paris.
Honfleur, with its picturesque port and charming little streets, and Étretat, famous for its spectacular cliffs, will seduce you with their unspoilt nature. Le Havre, with its historic port, immerses you in the region's maritime heritage. In Paris, the Opéra Garnier dazzles with its grandiose architecture, while a cruise on the Seine reveals the capital's iconic monuments. Dr. Yihan WANG, PhD | Doing Business in a changing world
Yihan Wang is an Associate Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship. He joined EM Normandie in 2020. He has a PhD in Administration (Specialist field: international business) from HEC Montreal, Canada, awarded in 2019. His thesis is an analysis of the Chinese aerospace industry. His research and teaching areas are international strategy, innovation networks and regional development. He is also Academic Director of Graduate program International Business.
Dr Roland Condor | PhD, Entrepreneurship in a digital and a sustainable world
Roland Condor is an Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship. He joined EM Normandie in 2001. He has a PhD in management science from the Université de Caen-Normandie, awarded in 2002. His thesis is on project design in small enterprises. His research interests are collective entrepreneurship, namely in agricultural fields. He is the Chairholder of the "Entrepreneurial Models in Agriculture" Chair.
Alex Mena | Sports & social media : building fan engagement
Formerly an NCAA athlete and javelin thrower, Alex Mena’s passion for learning has driven him to train with various Olympic coaches and at elite training centers across the United States. He currently serves as the Associate Athletic Director for Compliance at the University of Illinois Chicago. He joined UIC in 2022 after extensive experience in athletic administration at Southern Utah University, UTRGV, Drexel University, & Savannah State University. Mena holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside and a Master of Science in Healthcare Management from the University of New Orleans. His professional interests include NCAA Division I compliance, entrepreneurship & workflow optimization. Additionally, he is the founder of AMAP Media, specializing in optimizing online marketing visibility to practitioners in the healthcare field.
Dr Agnieszka Zur | PhD, Venturing for social good - ideation expedition
Agnieszka Żur is an academic educator and researcher. She works in the Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Cracow University of Economics and is the Director of Executive MBA Program at the University Business School. Her research and publication record is dedicated to social entrepreneurship, specifically individual-level factors of synergizing social and business goals, as well as micro-foundations of social entrepreneurs’ decisions. Reviewer for several Impact Factor journals and member of Editorial Board of Social Entrepreneurship Review. She has a long and extensive experience in teaching (BA, MA, MBA, PhD students) - author of course programs based on flipped classroom, design thinking and social constructivist and student-centered pedagogy. She is a MOOC developer and coauthor of an award winning Massive Open Online Course on Intrapreneurship and laureate of Teaching Innovation and Entrepreneurship Excellence International Awards 2018. Certified trainer and academic tutor. Her management expertise lies in quality assurance of teaching and learning. She serves as peer review team member on EFMD accreditation processes.
Farrokh Sheikhahmadi | Introduction to data analysis using Python and ChatGPT
Farrokh Sheikhahmadi is Assistant Professor in Supply Chain Management and he joined the EM Normandie business school in 2024. He is PhD Student in Management Science at l'Université du Havre Normandie and he has an MBA in strategic management. His thesis is about the application of digital innovations and data-driven methods in logistics, with a focus on different types of transport services including intermodal, multimodal and synchromodal transport. His recent researches have been mainly focused on the application of quantitative and analytical methods in logistic services.

Dr Olivier Lamotte, PhD | Global business dynamics and challenges in Europe
Olivier Lamotte is a Professor of Economics and International Strategy. He joined EM Normandie in 2019. He has a PhD from the Université de Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, awarded in 2005 and an accreditation to supervise research from Aix-Marseille Université, awarded in 2018. His thesis is on the economic integration and the internationalisation of companies. His research interests are internationalisation strategies, multinational companies, innovation and emerging economies. During his career he has carried out consultancy and research roles for various public and private organisations. He has also held visiting researcher posts abroad (Japan, UK, USA).
Dr Maryse Matta, PhD | Leadership & Becoming
Fluently bilingual, culturally diverse and a lifelong learner, Maryse’s distinctive academic and professional trajectory has taken her from architecture to project management to obtain a PhD in leadership. This unique blend gives her the ability to navigate with agility from abstract ideas to tangible results, to see issues from a bird’s eye view to the minute details to plan, implement and execute. Her unique background coupled with diverse experience give her a cross cultural sensitivity, knowledge and deep understanding of the human spirit to unlock potential.
Sébastien Girard | Creation in luxury universes
Founder of Icon-Icon, Sébastien is an MBA graduate from ESSEC Business School and also from the Institut Français de la Mode. After a spell in consulting at Ernst & Young in Toronto, he joined Philips in Mergers & Acquisitions and then Motorola as EMEA Marketing Director, where he worked on the Dolce & Gabbana phone and then EMEA Marketing Director for Prada (LG) Phone. He is a Six Sigma Master Black Belt. He also advises French start-ups at the ‘L'Escalator’ incubator. He teaches luxury and art, branding, storytelling, press relations, digital marketing and the marketing mix at institutions such as the Institut Français de la Mode, EDHEC, SKEMA, Ecole Ferrandi, CMH Paris, EM Normandie, Ecole Ferrières, Ecole Française Des Attachés De Presse and Université Paris Dauphine. He is the author of a book entitled ‘Instagramming: L'Art De Développer Une Marque De Luxe Sur Instagram...’.
Dr Julian Hofmann | PhD, Entertainment marketing
Julian Hofmann is a Professor of Marketing. He joined EM Normandie in 2016. He has a PhD in Management Science from the University of Cologne, Germany, awarded in 2012. His thesis is on brand management. His research interest is brand management, focusing on the entertainment and sport industries. He is the Head of Marketing Department.

Dr Josip Maric | PhD, Project management in the digital era
Josip Marić is an Associate Professor in Information Systems. He joined EM Normandie in 2020. He has a PhD in management science from the Université de Montpellier, awarded in 2018. His thesis is on sustainable development and digital transformation, with a specific focus on the implications of 3D printing technology. His research interests are Information Systems (IS), operations management, innovation and entrepreneurship. His research focuses mainly on digital technology, digital transformation, innovation and sustainable development. He is Academic Director of M1/M2 DESMI.

Dr Charbel Salloum | PhD, Finance 360: Investments, AI and trading mastery
Charbel Salloum is Professor of Finance and an Academic Director at EM Normandie Business School in France. He holds an HDR from Lille University and a Ph.D. from Aix-Marseille 3. He joined the George Washington University (GWU) School of Business in the United States of America as a part-time faculty and a visiting professor for almost six years. He is a Fulbright Visiting Scholar alumnus. His research works revolve around corporate governance, entrepreneurship, CSR/CSiR, leadership and gender diversity. Despite his academic and research activities, he acts as a business consultant for family business firms in Europe and in the Middle East.
