Your international trade degree in a world-renowned Business School

What is international trade?

International trade refers to commercial exchanges that exist between several countries. The law of each country concerned and the rules of international law govern this trade.

Free trade agreements are intended to reduce barriers to international trade between two or more countries, usually by setting lower tariffs. The World Trade Organisation (WTO) works to simplify international trade by creating global rules and standards for its member countries.

Testimonies of graduated in international trade

I work a lot with foreign suppliers, especially from the United States, Europe and Asia, so I mainly use English in this context.

Camille, Prototype Buyer at Volvo in Montréal, Canada

To be able to move into export, you had to have commercial experience in the field. During this period, I travelled around the country to meet the players in mass distribution. I was in a commercial negotiation role. This involves a lot of representations, product tastings and meetings with customers. You have to develop your local network in order to attract new customers and keep them loyal.

Guillaume Paillard, Head of export Asia, Champagne Laurent-Perrier

It was my internship year in London that made me want to make my career internationally. For now, I live in Dubai. In Dubai, it is quite easy to talk with people from all over the world.

Anne-Lise, Senior Manager at IHG® Hotels & Resorts

I went off to live in Italy in 2005 as I became a European Manager for a product line. I am in direct contact with the Heads of our subsidiaries to structure our 5-year strategic plan and to work on staff development.
