What are the conditions for access to work-study training for international students?
Students from the EU
French students or students living in the European Union are subject to the same rules for access to work-study training (apprenticeship contract, professional training contract, etc.). The restriction applies in particular to the maximum age.
Non-EU students
The rules for non-EU students are slightly different, but access to work-study training is mainly conditional on obtaining a residence permit that authorises them to work in France.
In fact, work-study programmes are treated as salaried activities and are therefore different from work placements.
