Requirements
The Winter School is open to Undergraduate and Graduate students providing that applicants have the pre-requisites specified in the course’s syllabus.
For non-native English speakers: a B2 level (CEFR) or equivalent is required. Official test scores (e.g., TOEFL iBT 83, IELTS 6.0, TOEIC 790) are not mandatory; a certificate or written confirmation from a language professor at your home university is sufficient.

Dr Elodie DE BOISSIEU | New product development in luxury
Elodie de Boissieu is an Associate Professor of Marketing. She joined EM Normandie in 2020. She has a PhD in management science from the Université de Paris-Est, awarded in 2019. Her thesis is on experience of luxury brands. Her research interests are technological innovations in general and brand management, particularly luxury brands and stores. Elodie de Boissieu has spent 20 years in marketing and sales roles in the luxury brands industry and services alongside her research posts recherche (fashion, beauty, tableware and fine dining). She also developed and managed EIML business school in Paris from 2012 to 2019. She is the Academic Director of M2/MSc Marketing and Digital in Luxury and Lifestyle.
Dr Liling SUN | New product development in luxury
Liling Sun, Assistant Professor in Marketing, joined EM Normandie in 2024. She holds a Ph.D. in Management Sciences from the University Toulouse Capitole, obtained in 2022, with a thesis focused on enhancing customer experience through the customer journey via augmented reality (AR). Her research revolves around the application of new technologies in marketing and optimizing customer experience through technological advancements. Prior to transitioning to academia, she gained rich professional experience in project management on an international scale, particularly in the construction and international trade sectors.
Dr Yihan WANG | Strategies of Multinational Enterprises
Yihan Wang is an Associate Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship. He joined EM Normandie in 2020. He has a PhD in Administration (Specialist field: international business) from HEC Montreal, Canada, awarded in 2019. His thesis is an analysis of the Chinese aerospace industry. His research and teaching areas are international strategy, innovation networks and regional development. He is also Academic Director of Graduate program International Business.
Dr VG VENKATESH | Managing Global Supply Chains in the VUCA context
V.G. Venkatesh is a Professor of Supply Chain Management, and he joined the EM Normandie in 2019. He holds a Ph.D. in global sourcing from the University of Waikato, New Zealand. With 23 years of international experience and has a consistent publication record in reputable journals. He has received prestigious fellowships from Waikato University, CIAS Hungary, and the Erasmus Teaching Fellowship. He's held visiting fellowships at LaSabana University, Colombia, Linnaeus University-Spain, and PUCPR, Brazil. His name appeared as an influential academic in the global #ThinkAmplifyList of the University of Bath. He's a qualified trainer and a LIFETIME Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) member. He is affiliated with associations like CSCMP and IPSERA. He is the Area Editor of Operations Management and Research (OMRA) and a member of the Editorial Board of renowned journals, including the International Journal of Operations and Production Management (ABS-4*), Management Decision (ABS-2*), and the International Journal of Logistics and Management (ABDC-A).
Dr Josip MARIC | Project management in the age of digital disruption
Josip Marić is an Associate Professor in Information Systems. He joined EM Normandie in 2020. He has a PhD in management science from the Université de Montpellier, awarded in 2018. His thesis is on sustainable development and digital transformation, with a specific focus on the implications of 3D printing technology. His research interests are Information Systems (IS), operations management, innovation and entrepreneurship. His research focuses mainly on digital technology, digital transformation, innovation and sustainable development. He is Academic Director of M1/M2 DESMI.
