International Accreditations

EM Normandie is triple accredited with EQUIS, AACSB and AMBA. Less than 1% of business schools in the world hold this triple crown.

In France, only 19 Grandes Écoles are concerned among the 400 business schools listed.

This triple accreditation attests to the excellence of EM Normandie according to very demanding international standards and confirms its position among the elite of business schools worldwide.

EQUIS

EQUIS

EM Normandie was granted the EQUIS accreditation for 3 years in 2016 by EFMD (European Quality Improvement System), and saw it renewed for yet another 3 years in 2019 and in 2023. Fewer than 200 universities and Business Schools hold this EQUIS hallmark in the world.

AACSB

AACSB

In 2014, the School was granted the US AACSB accreditation (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) for a period of 5 years. This was renewed in 2019 for another 5 years and more recently in 2024 for 6 years as a result of the renewal process and a peer review.

AMBA

AMBA accredited

In 2022, EM Normandie obtained the international accreditation AMBA (Association of MBA's) for its Master in Management (MBM), for the maximum duration of 5 years. EM Normandie becomes the 26th Business School to hold this distinction in France.

 

Labels and Certifications

CEFDG

State approved bachelor degreeThe Bachelor International Management renewed in 2021  the French visa Bac+3 (Undergraduate Degree) and the Grade de Licence in 2022 for 5 years awarded by the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research.

 

 

State approved bachelor degreeThe Bachelor in Business Administartion obtained in 2022 the French visa Bac+4 (Undergraduate Degree) and the Grade de Licence for 5 years awarded by the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research.

 

 

State approved master degreeIn 2020, the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research renewed the French visa Bac+5 (Graduate Degree) and the Grade de Master (Master’s Degree) awarded to the Master in Management for another 5 years.

 

 

State approved master degreeThe Two-years MSc track obtained in 2022 the French visa Bac+5 awarded by the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research.

 


 

CEFDG

The CEFDG (Commission d' Evaluation des Formations et Diplômes de Gestion) is the sole national body that reviews educational programmes offered by Business and Management Schools accredited by the French state. 

RNCP

CEFDG

The Répertoire National des Certifications Professionnelles (RNCP) is managed and updated by France compétences. The listing of certifications on the RNCP means that skills and knowledge acquired and necessary for carrying out professional activities are formally recognised. They are listed by level of qualification according to a national framework that ranks skills in relation to jobs. Comparisons can then be made with the European qualifications framework levels (from 3 for diplomas below baccalaureate to 8 for doctorate).

Qualiopi recognition attests to the quality of the processes implemented in the training programmes to identify and reconcile the expectations of students and companies, to deploy appropriate teaching, technical and supervisory resources and to implement a continuous improvement approach.

Article L.6316-4 II of the French Labour Code recognises the status of higher education establishments under the 4 categories of actions contributing to skills development

EM Normandie is a member of the School of Management Chapter of the Conférence des Grandes Ecoles (CGE), which federates 38 French Business Schools accredited by the State and chartered to award a Master’s Degree (Grade de Master). These Schools are a reference both in France and abroad in their training fields.

EM Normandie is one of the member schools of the CDEFM (Conférence des Directeurs des Écoles Françaises de Management), whose mission is to represent its member schools in dealings with the French government, the European Union, student and employer associations, national and international accreditation bodies and other international bodies responsible for teaching and research.

The Latin American Council of Management Schools - CLADEA is an international organisation that reunites both higher education institutions and international organisations committed to the teaching and research of management.

CLADEA has been active for over half a century, making it one of the world’s most important business school networks.

UGEI

UGEI

In 2010, EM Normandie joined the Union des Grandes Ecoles Indépendantes (UGEI), first as an associate member, then in 2012, as an active member. UGEI federates 36 Engineering and Management Schools that award a Master's Degree.

In 2016, EM Normandie was awarded the Etablissement d’Enseignement Supérieur Privé d’Intérêt Général (EESPIG) status by the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research for a period of 5 years.  EM Normandie is thus recognised as a not-for-profit Higher Education institution that contributes to the public service of Higher Education and Research.

EM Normandie has held the BSIS (Business School Impact System) label since 2013. Renewed in 2023, this evaluation tool, operated by FNEGE (Fondation Nationale pour l’Enseignement de la Gestion des Entreprises) and EFMD (European Foundation for Management Development), gauges the financial, economic and intellectual impact of a school on its territory while taking into account its specificities and role.

In 2023, EM Normandie was awarded the SD/RS Label (Sustainable Development and Social Responsibility) for two years, joining the circle of 10 Grandes Écoles de commerce with this label. Created in 2015, this label gives national and international recognition to the sustainable development and social responsibility initiatives of French higher education and research establishments.

EM Normandie has been awarded the Happy at School and Speak and Act labels, two barometers based exclusively on student satisfaction with infrastructure, academic teaching, relations with companies, student life, respect for the environment and confidence in the future.
EM Normandie Business School has been awarded the Best Employer Experience label by the Speak & Act barometer and is ranked 5th in its list of schools preferred by recruiters and mentors.
