Requirements
The Summer School is open to Undergraduate and Graduate students providing that applicants have the pre-requisites specified in the course’s syllabus.
For non-native English speakers: a B2 level (CEFR) or equivalent (TOEFL IBT 83, IELTS 6.0, TOEIC 790) is required. Official test scores (e.g., TOEFL iBT 83, IELTS 6.0, TOEIC 790) are not mandatory; a certificate or written confirmation from a language professor at your home university is sufficient.

Farrokh Sheikhahmadi | Introduction to data analysis using Python and ChatGPT
Farrokh Sheikhahmadi is Assistant Professor in Supply Chain Management and he joined the EM Normandie business school in 2024. He is PhD Student in Management Science at l'Université du Havre Normandie and he has an MBA in strategic management. His thesis is about the application of digital innovations and data-driven methods in logistics, with a focus on different types of transport services including intermodal, multimodal and synchromodal transport. His recent researches have been mainly focused on the application of quantitative and analytical methods in logistic services.

Camilla QUENTAL | PhD, Mindfulness and sustainability
Camilla Quental is Associate Professor in Management and Organization Studies and she joined EM Normandie in 2024 after numerous professional experiences in France and abroad. She holds a PhD in Management Sciences from HEC Paris awarded in 2011. Her research interests include human resources, labor relations, gender and diversity issues, as well as ethics and sustainability in organizations. She has published numerous research articles and chapters on these topics. Camilla has extensive experience teaching different audiences, from undergraduate to executive education, in countries such as France, Brazil, China, Cambodia and the United Arab Emirates. She serves as Associate Editor of the journal Gender, Work & Organization and is member of the United Nations PRME (Principles of Responsable Management Education).

Cathy RUBINOS | PhD, Mindfulness and sustainability
Cathy Rubinos is an Associate Professor of Economics and she joined EM Normandie in 2024. She holds a Ph.D. in Sustainability from Arizona State University awarded in 2017. Her dissertation focused on the governance and resilience of common-pool resources, particularly water resources in agricultural development. Her research centers on understanding how ecological, social, and institutional factors influence the resilience of social-ecological systems. Recently, she has developed a keen interest in social and environmental innovation, women's entrepreneurship, and informality. Her research employs a multi-method approach, incorporating qualitative insights from both contemporary and historical case studies, formal mathematical modeling, statistical analysis, and Qualitative Comparative Analysis (QCA).

Dr Yihan Wang | PhD, Doing Business in a changing world
Yihan Wang is an Associate Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship. He joined EM Normandie in 2020. He has a PhD in Administration (Specialist field: international business) from HEC Montreal, Canada, awarded in 2019. His thesis is an analysis of the Chinese aerospace industry. His research and teaching areas are international strategy, innovation networks and regional development. He is also Academic Director of Graduate program International Business.
Dr Cristina NEESHAM | PhD, AI governance and the future of business
Cristina Neesham is Adjunct Professor in the School of Business, Law and Entrepreneurship at Swinburne University of Technology (Australia). Formerly Professor of Business Ethics & Sustainability and Associate Dean at Newcastle University Business School (United Kingdom), Cristina has had over 20 years of experience in the academia and industry consulting, both in Australia and Europe. She holds a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Melbourne, Australia (2005), and was conferred a Swinburne University Teaching Excellence Award (2018) and an Academy of Management (Social Issues in Management) Leadership Award (2024). Her research in digital technologies (AI) ethics and governance, sustainable business models, corporate social responsibility (CSR), and business ethics education has been published in top tier international journals. Cristina has designed, led and delivered numerous courses in business ethics, responsible innovation and entrepreneurship, CSR, strategic management, leadership, and corporate governance at all levels (from undergraduate to postgraduate, executive MBA and doctoral school). She serves as co-Editor-in-Chief of Philosophy of Management and Associate Editor of Business & Society.

Roya Tat is an assistant professor in Supply Chain Management and she joined EM Normandie in 2024. She holds a PhD in Industrial Engineering from the University of Tehran in Iran and a Post-Doctorate in Operations Management from the IESEG School of Management in Paris, France. Her research interests include Supply Chain Management, Sustainability, Supply Chain Coordination/Contract Design, and Operations Management. She has several years of professional experience teaching various courses in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations Management
Dr. Yonathan Silvain ROTEN, PhD | AI & Decision making: can AI influence you ?
Yonathan Silvain Roten is a professor of Marketing. He joined EM Normandie in 2021. He has a PhD in Management Sciences from the Panthéon Sorbonne University awarded in 2019. His thesis is on the new practices of phygital interactions between consumers and sellers. His research and publications focus on screen sharing, as a shopping practice during a joint shopping journey, and as a selling practice during a service process.

Dr. Olivier KOVARSKI | DBA, AI & Decision making: can AI influence you ?
Olivier Kovarski is an Associate Professor of Marketing. He joined EM Normandie in 1998. He has two DBA in Business Administration, one from the Business Science Institute (Luxembourg) awarded in 2018 and one the IAE Lyon School of Management, awarded in 2019. His thesis examines how a public event may lead to positive word-of-mouth, namely in the case of film launch events. His research interest is Buzz Marketing, namely how an event makes people talk about a brand positively.

Josip Marić is an Associate Professor in Information Systems. He joined EM Normandie in 2020. He has a PhD in management science from the Université de Montpellier, awarded in 2018. His thesis is on sustainable development and digital transformation, with a specific focus on the implications of 3D printing technology. His research interests are Information Systems (IS), operations management, innovation and entrepreneurship. His research focuses mainly on digital technology, digital transformation, innovation and sustainable development. He is Academic Director of M1/M2 DESMI.
