Presentation

Kerstin Martel is an Assistant Professor in Management and Organization and she joined EM Normandie in 2025. She was awarded a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from Copenhagen Business School. Kerstin's research engages with globalization related questions, including global mobilities and migration, intercultural relations and cultural diplomacy. Her doctoral thesis "Creating and dissolving identity in global mobility studies - a multi-scalar inquiry of belongingness and becoming on-the-move" investigates the phenomenon of recurrent international mobility through anthropological and philosophical lenses. Prior to her academic career Kerstin has been working internationally as organizational consultant.
