Nomination: Anne-Sophie Courtier joins EM Normandie Business School as Director of Programmes

EM Normandie Business School is pleased to announce the arrival of Anne-Sophie Courtier as Director of Programmes and member of the Executive Committee.

Previously Director of MSc and Deputy Director of the Programme Grande Ecole at NEOMA Business School, this Doctor of Law has extensive experience in teaching and programme management.

Anne-Sophie Courtier

Anne-Sophie Courtier was particularly attracted by EM Normandie Business School's dynamism, its capacity for innovation, its international expansion, the quality of its programmes and the excellence of its faculty.  She is responsible for managing and developing the programme portfolio on all the school's campuses, monitoring the quality and progression of teaching, and ensuring that it meets the needs of the market. She is also committed to developing innovative teaching methods in conjunction with the academic directors and the faculty.

Anne-Sophie Courtier graduated from the Université de Caen Normandie in 1998 with a research master's degree in private law, followed by the CFPA at the Université Paris 2 Panthéon-Assas in 1999, and then went on to obtain a doctorate in law from the Université de Rouen Normandie in 2005. She began her career as a lecturer in private law. She joined the faculty of the Université de Rouen Normandie, first as a teaching and research assistant, then as a lecturer in law.
In 2006, Anne-Sophie Courtier joined NEOMA Business School as a professor-researcher and, from 2008, as Head of the MS Corporate Legal Management. 
Three years later, she took over responsibility for the MSc International Project Development, where she introduced an innovative teaching method based on Learning by Doing. In 2013, she received the Pedagogical Excellence Award from NEOMA Business School.

In 2017, Anne-Sophie Courtier became Director of the MSc Full Time programmes and was appointed Deputy Director of the Programme Grande Ecole in 2019. In particular, she oversees the project to merge the Programme Grande Ecole with the MSc Full Time programmes, coordinating the programmes and cross-functional departments.
In addition to her duties, she teaches Master's level courses in corporate engineering and the legal risks associated with contracts and corporate liability.  Her research work feeds into her courses and is regularly published in scientific journals.

Anne-Sophie Courtier has joined EM Normandie Business School as Director of programmes and member of the Executive Committee. Her mission is to manage and develop the programme portfolio, consolidate their positioning and attractiveness, while guaranteeing academic excellence with the support of the Faculty. 

In addition to these activities, Anne-Sophie Courtier is President of the Association Française Droit et Management (French Law and Management Association), which focuses on promoting legal research in Business Schools.

A vehicle for the finest innovations, forged on human values, the programmes reflect the identity of the institution and its national and international roots. Working in tandem with the faculty, the Programmes Department aims to meet the challenges of attractiveness and recruitment, content positioning and ongoing development, thereby contributing to the reputation of its institution.
