EM Normandie’s Master’s in Management linked to MSc programmes to create a generalist and specialist double degree

Initial Education

EM Normandie will launch its Master's in Management (Programme Grande Ecole)/MSc double degree from September 2021, building on the links between the two programmes. By adding a specialism to their general learning, the double degree enables students to stand out in international circles. Acclaimed by international business, the qualification combines French excellence (Master’s in Management) with global standards (MSc). This unique window into new opportunities joins the list of dual skills courses which the Business School offers on its five campuses.

A generalist and specialist qualification

Building on their EM Normandie general Master’s in Management qualification (QS and Financial Times Top 100), students can enhance their CV with the Conférence des Grandes Ecoles-accredited MSc specialist qualification. The MSc not only provides additional expert knowledge, but also boosts the value of the qualification as a whole, both in France and worldwide.

Students can opt for the Master’s in Management/MSc in their final year of study, when choosing their M2 specialism, included in EM Normandie’s Master’s in Management Global and Expertise Tracks. There are six possible specialisms, including two on the Paris campus: International Events Management and Marketing and Digital Marketing in Luxury and Lifestyle; two on the Caen campus: Financial Data Management and International Marketing and Business Development; and two on the Le Havre campus: International Logistics and Port Management and Supply Chain Management.

In addition to the traditional course modules, students will take three 25-hour electives, which cover multidisciplinary management issues including ethics, governance and digitalization. They will finish their course with a six-month internship in their chosen specialism.

A growing portfolio of double degrees

EM Normandie’s active partnership policy enables it to offer a range of double degrees. The Master’s in Management/MSc double degree will enhance this offering with strong international added value. In their M2 year, Master’s in Management students can join a partner university in Europe, America, Africa or Asia, most of which are EQUIS- and AACSB-accredited.

In France, EM Normandie offers double degrees in partnership with IAE Caen Normandie, including “Management and International Trade”, “Accounting, Control and Audit”, “Consulting and Research”, “Asset Management, Risk Control and Compliance”, “Management of the Solidarity Economy”, “Asset Management” and “Engineering and Expertise in Local Social Policies”. It also offers the "Marketing, Communications and Agrifood Engineering" specialism in Rouen, with UniLaSalle engineering school.
