EM Normandie placed in 18th position among business schools awarding Master’s degrees in the 2022 rankings from L’Etudiant
Rankings
The 2022 business schools rankings were published by L’Etudiant on Tuesday 30 November 2021. EM Normandie’s Master’s in Management (Grande Ecole) Programme climbed an impressive 3 places and is now in 18th position for post-baccalaureate and post-foundation degree schools awarding Master’s degrees.
The rankings are drawn up based on an analysis of 15 criteria divided into 3 themes: academic excellence (international accreditations, quality of research and the teaching body, average baccalaureate score of students, etc.); the international reputation of the school (percentage of the teacher-researchers holding a degree abroad, percentage of foreign graduates, performance of the school in international rankings, etc.); and relations with businesses (salaries of recent graduates just after graduation and after 3 years, position of the school in international rankings, multicultural exposure, etc.).
Towards an evolution in international mobility
An article devoted to international mobility during the pandemic has highlighted the new practices instigated by schools in order to arrange “international exchanges...remotely”. As Laurence Boiteux, International Development Director at EM Normandie, emphasises, “There are so many benefits. It goes beyond student mobility and, in the end, it represents a change in mentalities that affects the entire education community.”
Overview of international campuses
While students are waiting for the health crisis to subside in order to study abroad, business schools have had their own campuses abroad for many years now. EM Normandie is one such business school, with its 2 campuses on the other side of the Channel (Oxford and Dublin), and is planning to open new ones in the short and medium term: Dubai in 2022 and Ho Chi Minh City in 2023, and North America is on the cards for 2024. The editors at L’Etudiant drew up an overview of the plans of French schools to open campuses abroad.
