EM Normandie receives another 3-star ‘Bienvenue en France’ quality label
Rankings
A prestigious distinction for the next five years
EM Normandie is proud to announce that it has been awarded the ‘Bienvenue en France’ label for the second time in a row and for a duration of five years. This distinction, awarded by the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research (MESR), recognises the commitment of French institutions to welcoming and supporting international students.
With this label, EM Normandie joins 158 other French institutions, including 33 business schools. EM Normandie is one of 11 business schools to have been awarded the maximum three-star rating, a recognition that reflects the excellence of its initiatives and its commitment to an enriching student experience.
Why this label?
Obtaining the label depends on a series of strong actions aimed at simplifying and improving the integration of foreign students:
Dedicated platforms and tools
EM Normandie offers extensive websites, practical guides and online resources to support international students from the moment they arrive. These tools make it easier for them to settle in and understand the administrative and academic procedures.
Customised training and support
- Programmes taught in English to meet the needs of non-French-speaking students.
- A hybrid teaching approach for maximum flexibility.
- The tailor-made Career Path, an asset that helps each student to build a career plan in line with his or her international ambitions.
A dedicated welcome on every campus
With a multi-service HUB, each EM Normandie campus has teams trained to deal with intercultural issues, ready to respond to the specific needs of international students.
A dynamic and inclusive community life
Community life is at the heart of the EM Normandie experience. As well as organising regular events and sponsorship activities, the School encourages compulsory community involvement in the second year, strengthening social and intercultural links.
An active international network
Thanks to an international network of alumni and their priviledged relationship with the incubator, students benefit from support throughout their academic and professional careers.
The involvement of international students in DDRSE policy projects
Raising awareness of environmental issues and helping students make the transition to sustainability. With student initiatives, the Responsible Project, Assembly for Good, teaching modules and SuliTest student certification.
The ‘Bienvenue en France’ label: a pillar of the attractiveness of higher education
The label is part of the ‘Bienvenue en France’ strategy launched by the MESR in 2018. The aim? To welcome 500,000 international students to France by 2027. The purpose of this initiative is to make French institutions more attractive to talented people from all over the world.
With this accreditation, EM Normandie has confirmed its role as a leader in welcoming foreign students, while actively participating in the influence of French higher education on a global scale, as Dorota LICHMIRA, Development Officer in the International Affairs Department at EM Normandie, explains:
"Welcoming international students has always been very important at EM Normandie. Over the years we have implemented different and complementary strategies. Our support starts before the students arrive and continues after graduation. We have stepped up our support for international students on our campuses abroad and in Paris. Harmonising practices in a multi-campus context was crucial. The new version of the ‘Bienvenue en France’ label puts the emphasis on the aspects of DDRSE (Sustainable Development - Social and Environmental Responsibility) and student inclusion. These are two areas in which EM Normandie is a pioneer in the landscape of French business schools.
A major asset in attracting international students
The ‘Bienvenue en France’ label is both an acknowledgement of the work carried out by the school and an essential reference for international students looking for an enriching experience in France. By highlighting schools that excel in welcoming and integrating international students, this label enhances their attractiveness.
"The ‘Bienvenue en France’ label is becoming an important reference for international students. It's an easy way for them to identify institutions whose welcome policies are valued by Campus France. It is also a strong sign that the institution wants to welcome international students, include them and integrate them into life in France."
Dorota LICHMIRA, Development Officer in the International Affairs Department at EM Normandie.
