    The Master in Management (Programme Grande École) is the pinnacle of French excellence! This two-year course is delivered by high-level academics. Its provides regular opportunities to gain real-world experience and gives students a solid basis of general skills, enabling them to specialise in a profession with good future prospects. Moreover, this is a Master's degree recognised worldwide and a gateway to global opportunities.

    This programme is open to holders of a 3 or 4-year undergraduate degree via application form based on student's qualification.

    Objectives

    The Master in Management programme at EM Normandie prepares students for high-level, flexible management roles, providing them with management and leadership skills and training them to practise responsible management and lead interdisciplinary projects in a multicultural environment.     After 2 years of higher education

    Third year (U3)

    The third year is a key stage for refining your career path and actively preparing to continue your studies. Students tackle strategic subjects such as business law, strategy, management accounting, market finance, supply chain management and digital marketing, with a strong analytical focus based on data. The year also emphasises current issues such as responsible business, ethical marketing and organisational transformation.

    At the same time, students develop their personal branding and build a meaningful career plan, particularly through practical projects such as business plans and socially responsible initiatives. The semester concludes with a compulsory internship, which is essential for gaining an insight into the professional world and putting course content into practice. The third year is thus characterised by its balance between specialist knowledge, strategic thinking and practical application, equipping students to meet the challenges of the business world.

    In the first year of the Master’s programme, choose your pre-specialisation in Management, then specialise further in the final year.

    Master’s programme: a detailed overview

    Choose your specialisation

    After your third year, you will need to choose a two-year specialisation track to complete your degree. This track consists of a first semester of core modules, followed by a second semester of pre-specialisation modules, which focus more closely on the track’s specific theme. With the right preparation, you can complete your degree with a second year of specialisation, which will help you develop your skills in the area that aligns with your career plans.

    Two types of programme:

    • The ‘Work-Study’ programme, which will enable you to gain practical experience in the field
    • The ‘Double Degree’ programme – you will complete both a Master in Management (PGE) and an MS or MSc in the second year

    By choosing the initial programme, you have the opportunity to study abroad:

    • In the first semester of the M1 at the Dublin or Oxford campuses.
    • In the second semester of the M1 at the Dubai campus or at a partner university.
    • The full M2 year at a partner university, leading to a double degree.

    Improve your English

    Throughout the programme, take advantage of English lessons to deepen your command of the language, both spoken and written. Strengthen your grammar skills, expand your vocabulary and refine your pronunciation to communicate effectively in both everyday and professional contexts. In your 2nd year, spend a full semester (S3) studying abroad at a partner university. At the end of the programme, sit the TOEIC and include your score on your CV to demonstrate your command of the language in a professional context. You will also gain an understanding of cultural nuances to work confidently in a multicultural environment and further enrich your language skills by studying, if you wish, a second and third language from a choice of nine (German, Arabic, Chinese, Korean, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Japanese, Portuguese; subject to a minimum number of enrolments).

    In the module offered in Semester 6, learn how to analyse and manage costs to improve the organisation’s long-term performance. Discover how to create different cost scenarios, calculate full or partial costs, and measure the variances between forecasts and actual results. Master all the tools needed to make informed decisions and optimise resource management in an efficient and sustainable manner.

  • Evaluation criteria for the course

    All components of the student's education are evaluated: academic learnings, internships, missions, challenges, dissertations, study stays in partner universities. For academic learnings, continuous assessment generally accounts for 40% and the final exam accounts for the remaining 60%. Evaluations may also take the form of case studies, role-playing, group work, etc. Professionalisation (work-study, internships, missions, challenges) and, where appropriate, the corresponding report, will be evaluated jointly by the teaching team and the company.

    Admission Procedure

    1. Selection based on examination of the application file: seriousness of the application, quality of the academic and/or professional profile.
    2. Remote interview with an academic advisor: to find out more about the applicant, his/her plans and objectives. The admission decision (admitted, refused) is made a few days after the interview.
    3. Admitted candidates receive a formal e-mail inviting them to pay a deposit (deductible from tuition fees), which enables them to reserve their place on the programme and triggers a final letter of acceptance.

    • your most recent diploma,
    • your transcripts from previous years and your certificate of enrolment for the current year,
    • your covering letter,
    • a copy of your ID (front and back) or passport,

    In addition to the EM Normandie application form, international candidates must approach their local Campus France office to facilitate the process of obtaining their visa. Once the down payment has been received, the School will help International students with their visa procedures and search for accommodation.

    Funded applicants are asked to gather the necessary information as soon as possible so that the administrative documents can be drawn up in good time.

     

    French diploma holders: Passerelle 2 Admissions

    The Passerelle 2 Admissions is common to 3 French Business Schools. It is open to all students who hold a French undergraduate degree of 3 or 4 years minimum and in any specialisation.
