Employment market overview
Valued at €438 billion in 2025 (Source: Statista, global luxury goods market), the luxury market remains resilient in the face of the global crisis, driven primarily by demand from China and the United States. Thanks to its investment value, consumption of luxury goods remains strong, also driven by younger generations. This specific audience favors mobile shopping and social commerce over traditional retail experiences, making an understanding of online behavior crucial for luxury brands. Moreover, providing diverse and meaningful seamless experiences throughout the entire customer journey of luxury consumers is strategic. Finally, being at the forefront of sustainability and new technologies is currently central to corporate strategies. For luxury players, this involves identifying atypical skills and profiles, characterized by both an affinity for luxury culture, heritage, and experiences, as well as advanced digital expertise.
