Adel Al Alam is an associate professor of finance who joined EM Normandie in 2025. He holds a PhD in Physics and Finance from the Université de Montpellier, awarded in 2025. He was trained both as a physicist and as a finance scholar, he brings a rare blend of scientific precision and financial insight to his work. Over the years, he has published more than forty academic articles that delve into corporate finance, behavioral finance, sustainable finance, and quantitative methods, with a growing focus on ESG integration and the rise of fintech. His perspective is shaped not only by research but also by consulting experience, which gives him the ability to translate complex ideas into practical solutions for organizations. At the heart of his approach is a constant drive to connect data, human behavior, and financial decision-making in ways that generate real value. At EM Normandie, his ambition is to build bridges between sustainability and finance, helping shape a future where economic performance and responsible practices go hand in hand.
