Join a leading Business School for work-study programmes
Work-study programme : as a real lever of social openness with the total exemption of your tuition fees and the receipt of a salary each month, it is not surprising that EM Normandie was one of the first Grandes Écoles to develop work-study programmes.
Relying on a large network of partner companies, 5,000 to be exact, it receives more than 70,000 job, internship and work-study offers each year, including 1,500 exclusively! With companies of all sizes and in all sectors of activity (trade, industry, banking, luxury goods, mass retailing, etc.), increase your chances of getting the job you've been dreaming of during your work-study.
Furthermore, a dedicated team will accompany you in your search and follow you throughout your work placement. This is an extremely reassuring net when you know that some students give up on work-study programmes each year in France because they have not found a host company.
Every year, more than 2,200 students join a work-study programme on the Caen, Le Havre and Paris campuses. And since 2020, the School has had its own Apprentice Training Centre (CFA), which simplifies your procedures and eliminates the famous quota of places.
Join a leading work-study Business School, develop your skills in real-life situations and maximise your employability.
Did you know that at EM Normandie 93% of work-study graduates receive a job offer before the end of their studies? (Survey of professional integration conducted among the Master in Management Programme 2019 graduates conducted by EM Normandie and its Alumni Network).
Benefit from the payment of your tuition fees
When you join a work-study programme, your host company will pay for your tuition fees, whether you are on an apprenticeship or a professional training contract.
In addition, as an employee, you will receive a salary that varies according to your age. On average, you receive €1,100 per month. You are also entitled to paid holidays and social security cover in the event of illness, an accident at work or maternity.
With this financial flexibility, you can be more independent and pay for your own accommodation, food and transport. Move to a new city (Caen, Le Havre or Paris) and take advantage of the professional opportunities available to you.
A real springboard to the professional world
Business schools generally offer work-study programmes during the final year(s) of your course as a springboard to the professional world once you have chosen a specific sector or profession.
During the first years of your course, develop fundamental knowledge in management and apply it through numerous professional projects (case studies, consulting missions, challenges, etc.) carried out in collaboration between your school and its partner companies.
At the same time, get involved in community life on topics you are passionate about, meet many people, learn to work in a team and develop your skills.
Immerse yourself regularly in the professional world through work placements: discover a profession, carry out concrete assignments and familiarise yourself with how organisations work.
By completing your course with a work-study programme over one or two years, you will acquire the essential know-how and interpersonal skills needed in a company. At EM Normandie, you spend 75% of your time in the field: 1 week at the school and 3 weeks in the company. With this rhythm, which is so popular with recruiters, you can take on real responsibilities in your assignments.
It should be noted that for international students, work-study programmes are available under certain conditions. For more information, contact the apprenticeship pole.
