5,800 students: a record start to the school year
School's life
At the start of the 2021 academic year, the Business School welcomed 2,100 new students to its campuses, 16% more than the previous year.
Despite the particular context of the pandemic, 300 new international students joined EM Normandie, bringing their number to over 1,000.
Once again this year, the excellence of the School's training programmes and its teaching staff attracted applicants. The School recruited well through the entrance exams (Sesame, Passerelle Grande École, BCE, Passerelle Bachelor) as well as through application-based admission in France and internationally.
More than ever, the Grande École system remains a safe bet!
In the spirit of "Back to Real Life" and in accordance with the measures of the DGESIP circular of 5 August 2021 on the "orientations relating to health measures applicable to the start of the 2021 academic year", the School welcomes its students up to its overall capacity on its national campuses, where it is compulsory to wear a mask. Classes are given in person with distance access, particularly for international students who are unable to travel to the sites. The same applies to Oxford and Dublin.
Work-study programmes in constant progression
The Business School has reaffirmed its status as a leader in work-study programmes, with more than 1,500 work-study students, an increase of 50% compared to the year 2020-2021, which had already seen a strong increase.
Both a vector of social openness and a real springboard for the professional integration of young graduates, work-study is offered in the following programmes: Bachelor International Management (3rd year) and during the Master in Management (Programme Grande École).
What’s new in the programme offer?
Master in Management (Master’s degree)
The MiM is enriching its system of flexible courses, making its graduates more attractive to recruiters.
Nearly 200 hours of "Information and Technology Management" courses will be taught and a wider choice of electives offered. The 100% English language course is available from the 1st year on the Paris campus, in addition to Caen and Oxford.
During the 4th and 5th year, the work-study Track is now also offered in English on Paris campus. Students can alternatively spend 6 months to 2 years on the Dublin campus. In addition, the School is enriching its destinations with study stays in partner universities, opening two new M2 specialisations and offering the possibility of obtaining a double MiM/MSc degree.

Bachelor International Management
True to its pedagogy centred on the student experience, the Business School is innovating by adding to the founding elements of its Bachelor's degree, more internationalisation and flexibility in the choice of course (new options, specialisations...). It is also opening a work-study programme in Paris in the 3rd year, in addition to the existing programme in Le Havre.
